Trial by Jury tells the story of Angelina's suit against Edwin for Breach of Promise of Marriage. It is the only Gilbert and Sullivan opera to contain no spoken dialogue.
This edition gives the vocal lines with piano accompaniment. As such, it is ideal for use by singers, musical directors and pianists, though the score contains no orchestral cues.
