November 1999 was the last month of our Trivia Quiz for a while - we'll be re-launching it in the late Spring of 2000. In the meantime, we'd like to thank all the entrants from the last two years - if you've had as much fun answering it as we've had setting it, we've achieved our objective.

A small postbag in November, but a good one !

Using his own time-reckoning, Nanki-Poo estimates that 30 years of married happiness are in store for himself and Yum-Yum (in The Mikado). In The Gondoliers, the Duchess says she charges "five guineas a night, and my dinner" to play écarté "at middle class party". In Trial by Jury, the Judge say he "danced a dance like a semi-despondent fury" in Westminster Hall.
